The COOLPIX S70 is the first Nikon digital point-and-shoot camera to offer a slew of touch-screen features, including the ability to focus and shoot with a simple tap on the screen; zoom in and out with the pinching of your fingers; and scroll or jump through your gallery with a 1- or 2-finger swipe. The S70 revolutionizes the way we interact, not only with our camera, but with our photography, and this was the driving force behind MRM’s digital demand idea: Touch your pictures in a whole new way.
To promote this new interactivity between consumer and product, MRM developed the “Virtual Touch Experience” as an online extension of the COOLPIX S70’s real-world utility. By simply adding a bookmark to your browser’s toolbar, you can browse online photo galleries on Web sites like Facebook or Flickr. All they need is a Webcam to detect hand motions, and they’ll be able to access the Touch application anywhere across the web within a specially designed Nikon viewing window.
