MRM Meteorite won one of the most prestigious awards at The New Media Age Awards presented last week at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane in London. It was an incredible night for all involved; especially the MRM Meteorite team awarded the “Special Award for Technological Innovation!”

 

The elite group of judges commented, “With so many entries, it was one of the toughest years to pick the winners, but we would like to pass our thanks to the brands and agencies for all the fantastic work they’ve produced this year to help make this industry one of the most exciting, fresh and innovative places to work in.”

The campaign objective was to increase Intel brand awareness and relevancy so the audience would consider systems containing an Intel processor when selecting a PC.  After identifying that the two core passions of the 18-34 year old target audience were social media and football, plus a heavy reliance on mobile devices, MRM Meteorite developed Intel Info Stream: Football, a mobile app that combines live match stats with real time opinion posted in social media.  The app covers 180 teams across the top European leagues.  To create the app, MRM created a bespoke aggregation engine that scours the web for social content, analyzing and delivering relevant information, together with match stats, in real-time to the mobile app.

Media promotion centered on regular conversational posts through Intel¹s country social media accounts.  The app has received a respective 5 and 4-star rating in iTunes App Store and Google play.
