Patricia Berns

EVP, Managing Director, MRM San Francisco

As Managing Director of MRM’s San Francisco office Patricia is responsible for the operation in San Francisco from growth to client satisfaction to profitability to quality of product to collaboration. Patricia has been a key leader with MRM for many years and has helped MRM evolve from the days of a pure direct agency to the creative, performance and technology powerhouse it is today.

Patricia joined the MRM Worldwide team in 1999, and since then has held key leadership positions ranging from Head of Strategy and Analytics for North America, to Chief Marketing Officer. In her first year at MRM she received the HK McCann Leadership Award for her outstanding contributions to the strategic direction of MRM. In 2005, Patricia took over global leadership for the Microsoft account, and in 2008 moved over to lead the Verizon team where her leadership was instrumental in the MRM Team receiving Verizon’s prestigious “Supplier of the Year” in 2011.
Prior to moving to MRM Worldwide, she was President of The Strategic Group, a marketing consulting firm specializing in digital and customer strategy, direct marketing and analytics for technology and telecommunications companies including IBM, Dell, Oracle, Cisco, AT&T and NYNEX.
Patricia’s early career began at AT&T, where she built and led the first US Distributor Channel Program, incorporating over 10,000 Channel Partners, and launched the initial marketing campaigns for cellular telephones in the US in partnership with Bell Laboratories.

Patricia is a graduate of Farleigh Dickenson University in New Jersey.
