A 24-year marketing veteran who has worked on the client side and with agencies, Michel Sergio brings an impressive depth of experience to the MRM Worldwide team. Spanning the disciplines of brand advertising and relationship marketing in both traditional and digital environments, that experience was hard earned during Sergio’s international senior leadership roles at some of the industry’s most respected companies, including Apple Computer, BBDO, Ogilvy & Mather, and Digitas.
Michel joined the McCann Worldgroup with MacLaren McCann in Toronto in 2001. As SVP, Brand Director, he built and led broad and highly integrated marketing communications teams for Microsoft, Xbox and Rogers Communications. In 2004, Michel transferred to MRM Worldwide to take a global leadership role focusing on the strategic and operational requirements of digital and direct marketing. Since then, Michel has been Managing Director of MRM Australia and Chief Operating Officer of MRM Worldwide, West Region, out of San Francisco. He has also held leadership roles on transformational assignments for Microsoft, Verizon, MasterCard and General Motors.
As EVP, Director of Worldwide Client Operations, Michel partners with MRM global leadership to help achieve their client and office goals — both strategic and operational. Michel also works with the McCann Worldgroup partners to ensure close alignment of integrated client efforts.
Michel is a graduate of York University and lives in Toronto with wife Renée and two daughters.
