Marcelo Amiano

EVP, Director of Operations, MRM Argentina

Marcelo is an executive with wide experience in strategic development, start-up and operation of companies in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Mexico and Spain. In the last 14 years, he has been working in services companies, and developing business, marketing, e-business, technology, operations and administration. As an electronic engineer, Marcelo developed and implemented new technologies, services, products and alternative marketing channels.

Professional experience includes Westinghouse Argentina (83-85), where he was in charge of the Electronics Department; IBM Argentina (85–88), where he worked in Test Engineering, designing applications for production line product testing; and SEC Electronica (89-05), where he was Partner, Manager and CEO devoted to network installations, servers, system support and computer center start-up. Among its clients, it is worth mentioning BBVA, ECS, Emerger, Tipoití, Showcenter, Socimer and DDM.

At Intelligent, acquired in 2007 by MRM Argentina, Marcelo was a Partner, Manager and CEO, responsible for providing Marketing Technology solutions, business strategy definition and implementation, services and product marketing, in nine countries: Argentina, Uruguay, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Panama, Spain, England and U.S.A.

As MRM Argentina’s Director of Operations, Marcelo was in charge of the merger of Intelligent and MRM operations, reengineering the structure and managing the operation to achieve both objectives: becoming a large digital agency in Argentina, and delivering production support for different MRMs.
